An eastern North Carolina native. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation from East Carolina University in 2007.

After graduation, I worked at Vidant Medical Rehabilitation Center in Greenville, NC on the Spinal Injury Unit. I was part of a multidisciplinary team that aimed to improve the lives and independence of our patients. As well as provide supportive care and education to patients and families.

It was through this foundation that led me to study Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in Asheville, NC at The Center for Massage and Natural Health in 2013.

I've attended trainings with Tom Myers-Myofascial Release/Fascial Meridians, Yoga Teacher Training 200-Hour, Upledger Institute-Craniosacral Therapy, Esalen® Institute-Massage Approach to Trauma, Oncology Massage, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage through Klose Training. 

Combining 16+ years of Interdisciplinary studies and application have guided me in such a way that strives to curate a safe and informed practice that respectively addresses each client's unique needs. I'm available to answer any questions about my background, experience with various populations, or ways that I can modify a treatment to best accommodate your needs at this time.
